
Oxxean 320 AL
Oxxean boats are high-end, rigid-hull inflatables with PVC vinyl tubes attached to aluminum rigid hulls. They are manufactured by RIB builder AB Marine Group. The 320 AL measures 10 feet, 6 inches long with a 5-foot, 6-inch beam and weighs about 117 pounds without a motor. It can carry five passengers and is rated for a maximum of 20 hp. For tender use, the RIB has an aluminum towing eyelet plus three aluminum lifting eyes and two towing eyes on the stern. It comes with a hand pump, oars and a rowing seat and has rubber anti-slip decking.

Beneteau Figaro 32
The Beneteau Figaro 32 is the first production foiling one-design sailing monohull on the market. The racing boat is a result of a collaboration between Beneteau’s experts and the the Van Peteghem Lauriot-Prévost (VPLP) office, the architects of the two last boats to win the Vendée Globe. The futuristic-looking boat has foils, a high performance, ballast-free hull, slender, deep keel, setback mast. The boat also has a more extensive and larger sail plan than its predecessor, the FB2.

38’ Calvin Beal
From custom builder SW Boatworks in Lamoine, Me., comes Star. The 38’ Calvin Beal design features classic downeast styling and is built with the latest materials and equipment. The boat measures 38 feet, 9 inches, with a 15-foot beam. Power is a Cummins QSC 8.3 diesel inboard with a Nautilus propeller. Top speed is estimated at 22 mph, with a cruise of just over 17 mph. SW Boatworks built the boat with a solid fiberglass bottom and a foam-cored deck. Laminates are from Composites One. The new owners of the boat said they are “over the top happy with the quality craftsmanship of the boat.”

X49
The X49 is the latest addition to the builder’s X series of cruising/racing sailboats. The X49 features a light-weight, vacuum-infused hull that allowed the Danish yard to increase the weight of the lead keel bulb. The configuration allows the boat to drive through waves without keel draft being excessive, so the boat can navigate shallow waters. The X49 also has a large interior that features a simple layout with oak veneers, white paneling and Corian worktops. The layout options include three double cabins or two doubles with a twin cabin aft. There is also a tender garage with a door on an electric lift.

Hinckley Sport Boat 40c
As The Hinckley Company celebrates its 90 anniversary, it has introduced two new performance models, the Sport Boat 40x and the Sport Boat 40c. The latter will be on display in Newport this year. “As we celebrate our 90th anniversary, we reflect on a heritage that has risen to the pinnacle of yachting refinement,” said Pete Saladino, chief marketing officer at Hinckley, in a statement. “With the introduction of the Hinckley Sport Boats today, we are bringing that refinement to performance boats. This is one of our most important product introductions in years.” The company uses vacuum-infused resin into layers of carbon fiber and Kevlar wetted out with epoxy resin. The 40c has a retractable sun guard covering the stern. A hull door facilitates boarding and the full-sized companionway door provides access to the galley. Forward, teak-and-holly covers the sole in the air-conditioned center cabin and a U-shaped settee with seating for three converts into a queen berth.

Surfari 50
The Surfari 50 was designed as a modern performance sailing yacht that runs equally well in different modes. Designer Ted Fontaine designed the boat for racing but also to perform like a motoryacht under power. The single-level floorplan was created specifically for an active outdoors watersports lifestyle. Fontaine designed the boat for baby boomer racing sailors after meeting hundreds of yachting families.

Tiara Sport 34 LS
Tiara’s new Sport division introduces the 34LS, another outboard-powered model designed to take advantage of the cockpit space afforded by clamp-on motors. The boat features a walkaround layout with an outdoor galley and convertible sunpad. These features lend themselves to day boating. The 34LS is designed with multiple lounges and social zones. Below-decks, guests will find sleeping accommodations and a full head. Powered by twin Yamaha 350-hp outboards, the boat comes with a glass helm with integrated electronics and Garmin Marine navigation systems. Triple 350s are options. The new model measures 34 feet, 9 inches with a beam of 11 feet. Dry weight is 13,800 pounds with twin 350-hp outboards. Fuel capacity is 232 gallons.

Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 42
The Wauquiez Pilot Saloon 42 was designed around an efficient hull with a vertical bow and low profile. The modern-looking hull was conceived for high cruising speeds, responsive handling and comfort at sea. The French builder worked hard to ensure the boat is responsive, even in severe conditions, while under sail or power.
