Westerbeke says its Safe-CO model 3.5 SBCG low-carbon monoxide gasoline generator is the most compact 3.5-kW gasoline generator on the marine market.

Weighing 188 pounds, it produces 17 percent more power than its predecessor, the carbureted 3-kW, 3.0 BCG. The multiport electronically fuel-injected 3.5 SBCG (27 by 16.9 by 7.7 inches) is built around a 2-cylinder engine with precise throttle control and a specially designed flywheel for smoother operation, says director of sales and marketing Tom Sutherland.
