Grieve walk-in oven

66_grieve_01The Grieve No. 850 is a 500-degree, electrically heated walk-in oven made by the Illinois-based Grieve Corp. for curing composite parts.

Superalloy-sheathed 80-kW tubular elements heat the oven chamber (6 by 10 by 6-1/2 feet) while a 10,000-CFM (cubic feet per minute) 7.5-hp recirculating blower distributes horizontal airflow. The unit has 4-inch insulated walls, an aluminized steel interior and exterior, and a 2-inch insulated floor with integral truck wheel guide tracks for easier loading and unloading. The unit is built with such safety components as explosion-venting door hardware. Grieve Corp., (847) 546-8225. www.grievecorp.com
