Sea Recovery named Alex Koh, formerly with Unisteel Technology Ltd., to manage Asian-Pacific sales from its new Singapore office.

The company hopes to build and improve its relationship with Asian boatbuilders and marine retailers by employing Koh, who is familiar with the customs and culture of the surrounding areas. Koh, who is fluent in English and several Chinese dialects, helps bridge a cultural and geographical divide between the Rancho Dominguez, Calif.,-based company and its Asian dealers and distributors.

Koh has more than 18 years technical sales and marketing experience in various fields, including the marine industry. He has an MBA from the University of Wales (U.K.).

Sea Recovery provides reverse-osmosis desalination for small to large yachts.
