Cook hiking Thermaclean prices
Posted on 02 September 2008
Cook Composites and Polymers will increase pricing for its Thermaclean products, beginning with shipments on or after Sept. 15.
CCP said the increased prices for its high-flashpoint, MACT-compliant, solvent-based products are a result of advances in key raw ingredients and tight supply. All materials in this product classification will be increased 15 cents per pound.
Some of the Thermaclean trade names include Aquawash, Replacetone, Unisolve, Uniwipe and Wipe-Bright.
Despite economic pressures, CCP said it continues with efforts to control price increases by improving bottom-line efficiencies in the manufacturing process.
“CCP remains committed to serving our customers as efficiently and effectively as possible,” said Rick Pauer, CCP product manger for specialty products, in a statement. “High-flashpoint solvent and waterborne products within the Thermaclean product line provide our customers with a valuable solution to their business needs, and our goal is to continue to provide high-value products at aggressive costs to drive our customers’ profitability.”
