Actuant Electrical appoints PR manager

Actuant Electrical's marine segment named Michele J. Goldsmith public relations and show manager for the marine and mobile segment in North America.

Goldsmith, sales manager for key retail accounts, will continue in that role and expand her responsibilities to include the management of marine public relations, media and trade shows.

“Michele has a strong background with the marine media and show management, which will allow her to bring instant value to the business in this area,” G.R. Schrotenboer, Actuant America’s Marine and Mobile segment leader, said in a statement. “Her skills will help to convey our brand and product messages, helping increase our market visibility and drive demand for our products.”

Goldsmith has worked in the marine industry since 1991. Her background includes manufacturing operations, sales and marketing in marine accessories and systems. She serves on the board of the National Marine Manufacturers Association and the technical board of the American Boat and Yacht Council.

Actuant’s marine segment includes the Marinco, Mastervolt, Ancor, BEP, Guest Park Power and AFI brands.
