International Superyacht Society seeks award nominations

The International Superyacht Society is asking for nominations from the yachting industry and public for its 2012 Awards of Distinction.

Although many are familiar with the organization’s design awards, which celebrate achievement in superyacht engineering and style, the ISS also seeks nominations in personal triumph categories ranging from crew to corporate office achievement for ocean stewardship.

The awards will be presented Oct. 25 during the ISS International Awards for Design & Leadership Gala, on opening night of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort.

ISS is a non-profit that is dedicated to recognizing achievement in the global superyacht industry, and it relies on sponsor support.
