West Marine schedules annual new-product review

West Marine will host its new-product review day on June 22.

The country’s largest retailer of boating supplies and accessories will hold the event at its Watsonville, Calif.-based support center.

West Marine’s New Product Review Day allows prospective inventors and vendors to pitch new products to West Marine category managers for consideration and the chance to have the goods sold in West Marine retail stores, as well as other through channels, such as online and catalog sales.

“West Marine is continually seeking the latest in high-quality boating, fishing, sailing innovations and gear,” West Marine executive vice president of merchandising Ron Japinga said. “Our New Product Review Day presents a unique opportunity for vendors and inventors to meet personally with West Marine. We always look forward to this event and are eager to see what the inventors have created for our customers.”
