Actuant Electrical's marine segment, which includes the Marinco, Mastervolt, Ancor, BEP, Guest and AFI brands, is expanding its global product management team.

In the United States, Dave Wiesemann, who leads the U.S. product management team, also assumes the role of global shore-power product manager. Matt Elsner was hired as marine accessories product manager, Shaun Horan as senior product manager for portable and waterproof chargers, and Julie Allongue was hired as product manager for consumables, including wire management products.

In the Netherlands, Marc Persoon, former marketing manager and project leader, was appointed the global product manager for power electronics. In New Zealand, Jarrod Sagar, former distribution products manager, takes on the position of global digital switching systems product manager and will manage Glyn Dickson, who was hired to cover power distribution products.

“With three technology centers of excellence across the globe and a focus on growth and innovation aimed at solving customer and market needs, it is essential that we have talented, knowledgeable product managers,” G.R. Schrotenboer, segment leader for the Actuant Marine and Mobile segment, said in a statement. “The U.S. team is focused on shore power, wire products and accessories, New Zealand is centered on power distribution products and digital switching systems, and Amsterdam is focused on power electronics. Together this product management team handles the broadest product offering from one company in the marine electrical sector of the industry.”

Bluewater Yacht Sales announced the promotion of Chris Hall Jr. to sales manager, reporting to vice president of sales Jud Black.

Hall has been with Bluewater since the 1980s and literally grew up in the Bluewater family.

He will be coordinating the activities of Bluewater brokers in all offices in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina and ensuring clear communication channels between the brokers, sales support staff and the product lines Bluewater represents.

Bluewater is a dealer for Viking Yachts, Princess Yachts, Regulator Boats, Sabre Yachts and Back Cove Yachts. The company has operated sales offices, marinas and boatyards in the Mid-Atlantic region since 1968.
