SNAME conference names keynote speaker

The annual banquet of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers on Oct. 25 will feature a keynote address by Richard T. du Moulin, who is the founder and president of Intrepid Shipping.

The banquet will run from 7-9:30 p.m in Ballroom A on the fifth floor of the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.

Du Moulin founded Intrepid Shipping in 2001. From 1998-2001, he was chairman and chief executive officer of Marine Transport Corp. Prior to that, he was chairman and CEO of Marine Transport Lines.
