Trade Only senior reporter Chris Landry caught up with the keynote speaker of the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo — motivational speaker, trainer and author Robert Stevenson — moments before he took the stage and delivered his message to an audience of 650.

Stevenson, 60, of Clearwater, Fla., a former All-America in football at Georgia Tech, says businesses must be willing to change to survive and thrive. He talked to a handful of dealers to prepare for his speech, learning that one of the major challenges for the marine industry is finding ways to make boating easier and more enjoyable.
