Vetus joins AIM relief effort for Sandy victims

Marine equipment manufacturer Vetus will partake in the "Thanksgiving Meals for Hurricane Sandy" event held Nov. 21-22 by the Active Interest Media Marine Group.

The goal of the event is to provide donations as well as Thanksgiving meals to victims in the Long Beach, N.Y., area.

“Some of our most loyal customers are located in Long Beach,” Vetus Americas CEO Jay Stockmann in a statement. “So we felt it was only right to give back to a community that has given us so much.”

Stockmann also announced that Vetus will be donating $1,000 to the event and will be there first thing on Wednesday to provide any help he can.

The AIM Marine Group is composed of PassageMaker, Power & Motoryacht, Sail, Soundings, Soundings Trade Only, Yachts International, Show Management and BoatQuest.com.
