Wavecraft USA, maker of the Waveblade, continues to expand the sales of its handheld power barnacle removal tool.

Jamestown Distributors, of Bristol, R.I., will now carry the Waveblade and its accessories and replacement parts.

Family-run Jamestown Distributors has a 40,000-square-foot warehouse and offers customers online shopping on its website. The company also provides users access to online do-it-yourself tutorials.

"We're always looking for new ways to supply and assist our customers in maintaining their craft. The Waveblade is a great addition to our offerings," Michael Mills, president of Jamestown Distributors, said in a statement.

Wavecraft said the Waveblade uses vibration to remove barnacles and other marine growth and speeds the cleaning of hulls and other structures, both in and out of the water.

“We're pleased to add Jamestown Distributors to our team and know their industry experience and customer base will help us continue to grow in the Northeast," Wavecraft USA director of marketing and sales Wendy Benge said in a statement.
