Southwest Florida Yachts adds to charter fleet

The Mainship 34 trawler named Quarter Moon is the latest vessel in Southwest Florida Yachts' charter fleet for cruising the southwest Florida Gulf Coast, including the scenic Pine Island-Sanibel-Captiva area.

“Quarter Moon is the perfect cruiser for two to four people,” Barb Hansen of Southwest Florida Yachts said in a statement. “She is shippy, comfortable and very well-equipped for the ideal vacation afloat.”

Quarter Moon charters for $3,957 weekly during the winter season and $3,165 during the summer. Hansen noted that winter charters of three days or longer through April 30 earn one free cruising day as part of the company’s 30th anniversary in 2014.

Three-day or longer summer charters earn two free days of cruising.
