Brokerage sales steady for mid-size sailboats

Sailboat brokerage sales in August held steady at 523 boats, which is similar to the prior three months, but 14 percent lower than the 605 boats that were sold in August 2008, as reported by broker members of YachtWorld.com.

MarineMax offering common stock at $7 per share

MarineMax priced a public offering of 2.6 million shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $7 per share for total gross proceeds of $18.2 million.
