Brunswick Corp. is reporting a successful Cannes Yachting Festival, with Mercury Marine accounting for 66% of outboards on display and many of the company’s boat brands introducing new models.
The Mercury Racing 500R, Boston Whaler 405 Conquest, Heyday H22, and the Sea Ray Sundancer 370, SLX400 and SLX260 debuted at the show.
“Cannes continued to be a very important show for our brands, and Brunswick again had an outstanding event with more Mercury engines on display than ever before as an enthusiastic response from our channel partners to our Navan launch,” CEO David Foulkes said in a statement.
The Boat Group launched Navan, a new adventure brand that’s part of the Quicksilver division. The first models are the C30 and S30.
The Sea Ray SPX 210 won the Moteur Boat Magazine Award for best boat smaller than 7 meters, and four other Brunswick boat models were finalists for the Best of Boats award, to be announced later this year.
Freedom Boat Club, Sea Ray, Boston Whaler, Navico Group and Mercury Marine hosted Women on the Water, celebrating the achievements of women at Brunswick and throughout the boating industry.
