Sea Tow Central New Jersey received two Efforts Above and Beyond awards from Sea Tow Services International during the company’s recent annual meeting. The awards recognize Sea Tow captains who provide outstanding assistance to distressed boaters.

Sea Tow Central New Jersey general manager Capt. Walt Bohn was recognized for accommodating the family of a missing boater after an accident in September 2024. The second award recognized Bohn, Capt. Joseph Gallinoto and Declan Bohn for their assistance rescuing a kayaker in August 2024.

“It is a great honor to receive the Efforts Above and Beyond awards,” Bohn said in a statement. “We are proud to serve the central New Jersey region and take great pride in helping keep boaters safe.”
