British builder Fairline Yachts yesterday announced the expansion of its dealer network by naming Southampton-based Approved Boats to its South Coast and Scotland territories.

The Ocean Village Marina-based dealer takes over from Bates Wharf as Fairline’s exclusive partner for the South Coast region, teamed with its Greenock showroom in Scotland.

“It’s an exciting time for us to join Fairline just as it launches the next generation of new models with beach clubs and balconies,” Approved Boats managing director Rourke said in a statement. “We’re well-positioned to offer existing Fairline owners on the South Coast our award-winning after-sales support from our service center at Hamble Point Marina.”

Fairline sales director James Powell added: “We are delighted to welcome Approved Boats to the Fairline family and are excited for the future of Fairline in these key regions. David’s excellent reputation teamed with his evident passion for Fairline is set to be a great combination.”
