Yamaha Marine yesterday announced the appointment of John Wilkinson as technical support manager for the company’s Customer Experience Division. Wilkinson will be responsible for managing all business processes and support for the technical call centers for outboard, watercraft and Bennett Marine.

Wilkinson joined Yamaha in 2005 as a technical advisor, assisting with development of master technician recertification and XTO Offshore outboard training. Additionally, he served as an instructor for V-engines, inline engines and drive train courses.

“John brings more than 18 years of experience and knowledge to the Customer Experience Division,” Jason Berry, division manager, customer experience, said in a statement. “His skill set and leadership play a key role in enhancing the Yamaha Marine customer experience.”

Wilkinson reports directly to Berry.
