Azimut Yachts inaugurated its renovated headquarters in Avigliana, Italy, this week. The project, part of a $55 million investment plan for the production site, includes redesigned workspaces, a new multifunctional pavilion, and a virtual reality room for guests and prospective owners.
“I had the image of the Louvre pyramid in mind,” Giovanna Vitelli, chair of the Azimut|Benetti Group, said in a statement about the design of the new headquarters. “A statement of changing times, but above all a sign of how the new finds its full power in its relationship with the grandeur of the past. Azimut has a history spanning more than 50 years, and the best way to honor it is to continue evolving, as my father always did.”
The architectural restyling was led by AMDL Circle and architect Michele De Lucchi, along with Settanta7, which handled the office redesign. The headquarters will open to Azimut employees in September.
