Hempel, the Denmark-based coatings supplier, announced the appointment of Gosha Kolton as executive vice president and head of marine, effective Jan. 1. Kolton previously served as EU vice president at Henkel Adhesive Technologies, where she led one of the company’s largest regional business units.
“I am delighted to welcome Gosha to Hempel,” group president and CEO Michael Hansen said in a statement. “Her international perspective, leadership experience and passion for innovation will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our position in the marine coatings industry.”
Kolton has extensive international experience in strategic and operational leadership across developed and emerging markets, the company said. She succeeds Alexander Enström, who is stepping down from executive vice president but will remain with Hempel as head of new build in marine.
