The Palm Beach International Boat Show kicks off today at noon along Flagler Drive in West Palm Beach. Now in its 44th year, the show is owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets. The show runs through Sunday.

According to the show’s owners, the show in past years had an estimated statewide economic impact of more than $1.05 billion and drew more than 55,000 visitors each year.

Long considered a bellwether of the important upcoming summer selling season, the show gets underway amid optimism expressed by numerous dealers and manufacturers who spoke to Trade Only Today at the Miami International Boat Show last month, but also has marine dealers and manufacturers facing uncertainty about tariffs, interest rates, the Iran conflict and fuel prices that have potential to keep boaters off the water this summer.

Trade Only Today will provide show updates throughout the course of the show.
