MarineMax today announced that Beth Garland was named chief people officer. Previously senior vice president of people strategy, Garland will continue to lead people strategy across MarineMax, helping it attract, develop and support talent while strengthening company culture.
“Beth has played an essential role in shaping our culture and strengthening team member engagement as MarineMax has grown,” president and CEO Brett McGill said in a statement. “Her passion for our people and her leadership make her the right choice to lead our people strategy as chief people officer, and we’re excited to see the continued impact she’ll have across the organization.”
Since joining MarineMax nearly five years ago, Garland has helped lead and develop many people-focused initiatives that support teams across the company.
