Summary 

Fluid Marine is seeking candidates for several open Marine Assembler positions. The ideal candidates will prepare, build, and assemble boats and boat components, have mechanical knowledge, and have previously used hand tools in environments such as auto mechanics, carpentry, machine repair and service or construction. This is a clean boat assembly facility; we do not do fiberglass production.

Location: Headquarters, Franklinton, NC 27525, just north of Raleigh, NC. This is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Boat assembly 
  • Building wire harnesses
  • Console assembly
  • Electronics installation
  • Engine and component rigging
  • Unloading boats from shipping containers
  • Preparing boats for delivery
  • Driving a forklift
  • Performing other duties as required by management, including overtime

Qualifications 

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the recreational or commercial boat industry.

  • Be able to use hand tools and other process related equipment.
  • Have mechanical aptitude and analytical skills for problem solving and decision making.
  • Be efficient, able to stay on task, and a team player, and have solid listening skills.
  • Ability to be on your feet for most of the workday and perform repetitive tasks in a non-climate controlled environment. 
  • Be able to life 50 pounds. 
  • Be able to keep a clean and tidy work station.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
