Registration is now open for the fifth annual Women in the Marine Industry International Panel and Networking Breakfast, taking place Nov. 18 at the Metstrade Stage at RAI Amsterdam. The event runs from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. CET and is free to attend for all registered Metstrade exhibitors and visitors, with a complimentary breakfast included.
Co-hosted by British Marine, Metstrade, Soundings Trade Only and Marine Industry News, the event has become what organizers describe as an established fixture of the global marine calendar since its launch five years ago. All genders are welcome, and space is limited.
This year’s panel will focus on the theme “Future of the Marine Workplace: Building the Next Generation of Leaders,” examining how businesses can develop future leaders, nurture talent, embrace diverse perspectives and create workplaces where the next generation can thrive. A panel of internationally recognized female leaders from across the marine industry will take part in the discussion, with speaker details to be announced in the coming weeks. The event is designed to be relevant to professionals at every career stage, from those just entering the industry to experienced executives and business leaders.
“Women in the Marine Industry International has become much more than a networking breakfast,” said Michele Goldsmith, vice president and general manager of the Soundings Trade Only Group, in a statement. “It has evolved into an international forum where people come together to share experiences, challenge thinking and inspire positive change across our industry.”
The event also continues its support of Room to Read, a global charity focused on children’s literacy and girls’ education. This year organizers have set a goal of raising $25,000 to support an entire school, building on the momentum from May’s Global Women’s Walk.
Those not yet registered for Metstrade can secure a place via the dedicated registration link.
Existing Metstrade registrants and exhibitors can email mets@britishmarine.co.uk with their name, company and email to be added to the attendee list.
