Bombardier Recreational Products is launching its own retail financing program, BRP Financial Services, for customers buying through its U.S. dealer network. The offering goes live Aug. 24.

According to a press release, the Quebec-based powersports manufacturer said the program is built to speed up approvals and give dealers more flexible lending options, while offering customers a financing experience tailored to BRP’s Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Can-Am, Lynx and Rotax products.

David Baker, vice president and general manager of Powersports North America at BRP, said in the statement that the program is meant to support dealer sales growth and deepen customer relationships while keeping sales and financing associated with the BRP brand.

Benoit Chevrier, BRP vice president of finance and treasurer, called the launch a strategic milestone, saying that an in-house finance offering should improve operational efficiency and sharpen the company’s competitive position.

The program is run in conjunction with financing partner Octane. Together, the companies aim to deliver an end-to-end, BRP-branded experience that follows customers from purchase through ownership.
