This year’s edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show was the largest ever, with a record number of boats on display, according to the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County.

The show, which ran March 21-24, is owned by the Marine Industries Association of Palm Beach County and produced by Informa Markets.

“The Palm Beach International Boat Show is not only an economic powerhouse, but also a cherished tradition within our community,” Alyssa Freeman, executive director of MIAPBC, said in a statement. “Through initiatives like the Palm Beach International Boat Show Gives Back program, we reaffirm our commitment to enriching lives and fostering growth across the industry and throughout key community institutions that impact the everyday lives of West Palm Beach residents.”

The Gives Back program — funded through a portion of the ticket sales, optional ticket add-ons and other show-related activities — supports projects that “foster educational opportunities and enhance waterfront projects.”

“We are grateful for the support and enthusiasm that the West Palm Beach community, county and city officials, and residents show us year after year,” Andrew Doole, president of U.S. boat shows with Informa Markets, said in the statement. “It is the steadfast backing that fuels the success of the boat show, making it a highlight for boating enthusiasts and industry professionals alike.”

The show included the Windward Club within the Lakeside Pavilion on Flagler Drive, and VIP ticket-holders also received complementary admission to the Palm Beach Modern and Contemporary Art Fair. The Superyacht Show Palm Beach at Palm Harbor Marina featured more than 200 vessels. There was also a new engine and equipment pavilion.

Trade Only Today reached out to MIAPBC for attendance and other figures, but the data was unavailable.

Next year’s show is scheduled for March 20-23.
