Malibu Boats reported an 82 percent increase in net sales, to $140.4 million, in the third quarter and a 69.4 percent uptick in unit volume, to 1,786 boats, versus the year prior.
The Cobalt 30SC is the third new model in a series of outboard-powered bowriders. Cobalt said that it wanted to combine the luxury the company is known for with the quiet performance and efficiency of modern outboards.

Cobalt Boats introduced its first 23-foot outboard, the Model 23SC, to offer first-time buyers and occasional boaters seeking higher quality and reliability the same level of construction, performance and attention to detail offered in its larger boats.
The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers, in conjunction with Statistic Surveys, has announced that Malibu is the “No. 1 trailer manufacturer in market share increase for boat trailers” in 2017.
Malibu Boats Inc. saw net sales increase 69 percent in the second quarter to $114.4 million, and unit volume increased 61.1 percent to 1,489 boats.

Malibu Boats Inc. is matching funds raised by its employees to support the Loudon County, Tennessee, chapters of Toys For Tots and the Salvation Army’s Angel Program.
