Freedom Boat Club is adding Jeanneau Outboard Powerboats to its approved and preferred roster of boat brands.
Jeanneau joins a growing list of boat and engine brands featured in Freedom Boat Club’s fleet of more than 1,600 boats throughout North America.
“We’ve got this wonderful new partnership with Freedom Boat Club, and we’ve actually already delivered seven boats to the Freedom Boat Club organization at two different franchises,” said Jeanneau America president Nick Harvey.
“For us, it’s fantastic. it creates huge opportunities for us without taking away anything from our traditional distribution channels,” Harvey told Trade Only. “The success of this industry tomorrow revolves around multiple access points and multiple solutions. Freedom Boat Club is one piece of the puzzle.”
“There are several key franchise markets where we believe the Jeanneau outboard product will be well positioned to meet the needs and desires of both our franchises and our members,” Freedom Boat Club president and CEO John Giglio said in a statement.
“We have invited Jeanneau to participate in our upcoming national franchise conference this fall, where they will have the opportunity to showcase select models for in-water testing, with potential subsequent ordering by our franchisees,” Giglio said.
The partnership will help give Jeanneau powerboats — which were introduced to the American marketplace in the last few years — exposure, Harvey said.
“Partnering with Freedom Boat Club allows us to introduce our brand to thousands of brand-new and seasoned boaters alike, many of whom eventually purchase a boat. We believe this is a great synergy all around for Jeanneau and for our dealers, and we look forward to working with Freedom Boat Club and its franchisees to mutual benefit,” he said in a statement.
