Freedom Boat Club said it appointed 38 club members from southwest Florida as official representatives of its newly launched Ambassador Program.

The ambassadors live and boat in the 17 corporate-owned club locations from Bradenton to Marco Island, Fla. Each has volunteered to serve a one-year calendar term and will represent the club at special events, including monthly member socials, boat shows and other activities, while participating in social media and sharing feedback via marketing focus groups and surveys.

“It has been a long-term vision of ours to work more closely with a group of our most loyal and enthusiastic members in an effort to better tap their perspectives while simultaneously inviting them to more actively engage and personally promote the benefits of club membership,” club CEO and president John Giglio said in a statement.

“We are very excited to have organized this dedicated group of avid boating and club enthusiasts, and based on our initial gatherings, expect it to be a win-win relationship for all involved.”

Giglio also said the program is expected to be replicated at franchise locations throughout North America. A rollout is slated for April.
