Carver adds Japanese dealer

Carver Yachts named Eins A Resort in Osaka, Japan, a new dealer. Eins A Resort will be the only dealer in Japan for Carver. Rob Parmentier, president and CEO of Marquis-Larson Boat Group, said in a statement that he has known Eins A for more than 20 years. “They have an incredible showroom, organization and service operation,” Parmentier said. “They are one of, if not the, premier boat dealership in Japan.”

Cobalt announces Tommy’s Orlando as its newest dealer

Cobalt announced that Tommy’s Orlando has joined its dealer network. The retailer will sell the full line of Cobalt outboard models at its location in Clermont, Fla. Tommy’s president Matt Borisch opened the Florida dealership in 2012. The company is headquartered in Colorado. “Tommy’s philosophy is to be the most passionate, customer-forward business in water sports,” Borisch said in a statement. “Our goal is to provide the highest quality offering of product, service and support to all our customers and community. Cobalt is the next chapter in our effort to build those strong relationships.”

Larsen Marine takes on Jeanneau outboard powerboats

Jeanneau America announced that Larsen Marine, a Jeanneau sailboat dealer, has taken on its Leader and NC outboard powerboat lines. Larsen has locations in Waukegan and Milwaukee, Wis. “With our more than 25 years of experience in sales and service of Jeanneau sailboats, we’re confident the Leader and NC lines of outboard powerboats will be a big hit with Great Lakes boaters,” Brian Larsen said in a statement.

Hatteras names Cape Yachts as its newest dealer

Hatteras/Cabo Yachts has named Cape Yachts as its new dealer. Hatteras said in a statement that the New England dealer would handle the full Hatteras line. Cape Yachts has locations in the South Wharf Yard in Dartmouth, Mass., and Christie’s Landing in Newport, R.I. “The sterling reputation that Dave Nolan has built over the past 30 years for customer service and support makes Cape Yachts an excellent choice to represent Hatteras Yachts,” Hatteras CEO Kelly Grindle said in the statement. “Cape Yachts has built an excellent marketing and consumer outreach program, and the company’s two locations will make the purchase experience more convenient for our customers.”

HCB partners with Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales

Center console builder HCB signed Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales as a factory annex partner. HCB said in a statement that increased demand prompted it to add several partners in key markets. “Our intense focus on the customer has been a central component of our business from the start, and this mixes nicely with the business style of JBYS,” said HCB CEO Elias De La Torre III in the statement. “It is partnerships with retailers like them that helps us make the purchase and service process as seamless and top shelf as possible.”

Larson Boat Group expands dealer network

Larson Boat Group announced that it has signed dealers since the beginning of the year for its Larson, Larson FX, Larson Escape and Striper models. “Our continued expansion and interest in any combination of our Larson Boat Group product offering shows the market is active and hungry to differentiate competitively priced boats that fit a market niche,” Rob Parmentier, CEO of Marquis-Larson Boat Group, said in a statement. “Our engagement with our new dealer partners is exciting and adds even more energy into our organization.”
