MarineMax this week announced that Alex Velez was appointed the area marina manager for New Jersey.

In his new role, the company said in a statement, Velez will work with the MarineMax marina teams in Brick, Ship Bottom and Somers Point to increase occupancy rates, improve logistics and efficiencies, and assist in managing various capital expenditure projects.

“His leadership and expertise are expected to drive further success across the region,” the statement said.

Velez joined the company in 2021 as marina manager at the MarineMax location in Brick.
