Monte Carlo Yachts appointed Simpson Marine as its exclusive dealer in Southeast Asia in a multiyear agreement.
The agreement, which covers the whole of Southeast Asia, is a step toward Monte Carlo’s growing presence in the Asian market. Simpson Marine will provide a full range of sales and service from its offices in Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.
“For some time, Monte Carlo Yachts has been studying the Asian market and we are excited by the opportunities we see,” Monte Carlo Yachts president Carla Demaria said in a statement. “We believe the timing is now right to take this step and are delighted to be working with Simpson Marine as our strategic partner to develop the market across Southeast Asia. Simpson Marine has the experience, coverage and market insights necessary to bring the Monte Carlo Yachts range to customers across the region.”
Simpson Marine group managing director Mike Simpson said the range was an important addition to the company’s portfolio.
