Southport Marina in North Carolina is celebrating the opening of Zimmerman Marine’s service and repair facility.
The partnership will launch with an open house at the marina from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 26.
The companies announced that they will hold two roundtable discussions.
The agenda is as follows:
3 p.m.: Boat Repair Roundtable, moderated by Steve Zimmerman. Attendees are asked to bring their toughest boat repair questions and share ideas and questions about maintenance topics.
4 p.m.: The founders of PassageMaker magazine, Bill and Laurene Parlatore, and Winston Fowler of Salty Southeast Cruisers’ Net will lead a discussion on “Heading South from Southport — Follow the ICW or Go Outside.”
The open house also will include live music and refreshments.
