Gillen Diesel and Marine Services of Dania Beach, Fla., is offering a new out island yacht repair service.
The company’s turbocharged, twin-engine aircraft is piloted by a diesel mechanic and is available to haul parts for servicing up to a 1,000 nautical mile range.
“We have provided emergency engine and generator repairs and even hauled and installed a set of props for a 120-foot yacht that was en route to pick up a valuable charter customer,” owner Dave Gillen Sr. said in a statement.
Gillen Diesel and Marine is a full-service yacht repair, maintenance and refit facility with a headquarters and service center in Dania, and a second service center at Lauderdale Marine Center.
