The Coast Guard and the American Boat & Yacht Council announced the latest webinar in the USCG/ABYC Risk Mitigation Series. “Staying Current with Electrification,” the fourth part of the series, is scheduled for May 3 from 2 to 4 p.m. (ET).
ABYC and Coast Guard representatives will cover the state of electrification in the boating industry, from existing policy to what can be expected in the future.
“If you attend any boat show, it’s clear that electrification is here,” ABYC technical director Brian Goodwin said in a statement. “While there are no new electric propulsion standards or regulations being published in 2023, this upcoming webinar with the USCG will help clear up some misconceptions about this evolving technology.
