As part of International Marine Service Technician Week, the American Boat & Yacht Council announced the winners of its Outstanding Technician Awards.
More than 90 techs were nominated. The winners are:
• Austin Voigt, AMC Marine Sales & Service
• Ryan Emelander, Action Water Sports
• Scott Fowler, 3A Marine Service
• Kim Anderson, Safe Harbor Great Island
• Aaron Steel, Safe Harbor Pilots Point
“April 24-29 was the second annual International Marine Service Technician Week, and the Outstanding Technician Awards are dedicated to highlighting marine service professionals who excel in customer service, technical training and industry involvement,” ABYC said in a statement.
The winners received a $100 Visa gift card, free access to ABYC online courses, and giveaways from ABYC and Yamaha, which sponsored the awards.
