The American Boat & Yacht Council has opened registration for its annual standards week, which will be held next year Jan. 5-9 in San Antonio, Tex.
Project Technical Committees will meet at the event will review and update critical standards to be included in Standards and Technical Information Reports for Small Craft, which is set for publication in July 2025.
“Participants at standards week are the experts doing the behind-the-scenes work to keep boats safe, reliable, and enjoyable,” Brian Goodwin, ABYC technical director, said in a statement. “Last year, we welcomed many new faces, and it’s encouraging to see diverse perspectives contributing to this consensus-based process.”
