The American Boat and Yacht Council will conduct courses in December and February at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Conn.
The Marine Systems Certification Course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14-17. It will draw key information from 21 council standards as they apply to boat component selection and installation.
The course concludes with a 200-question certification exam.
The ABYC Standards Certification Course will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 1-3. It will provide students with a comprehensive and focused look at key council standards. Class discussion will address specific compliance issues relevant to engineers, installers, compliance inspectors and marine surveyors.
The course concludes with a 100-question exam.
