Power & Motoryacht named veteran marine journalist Charlie Levine as executive editor. Levine replaces Jeff Moser who was promoted to editor-in-chief of Soundings Trade Only.
Most recently Levine was editor and publisher of FishTrack.com and a contributing writer for several titles in Active Interest Media’s Marine Group. (Soundings Trade Only, PMY and Outboard are part of the AIM Marine Group.)
“The secret sauce for Power & Motoryacht’s success is not much of a secret — we’ve created a tight-knit core of talented editors all pulling in the same direction,” said editor-in-chief Dan Harding. “Having worked closely with Charlie on stories for PMY and Outboard, I’ve seen the energy he puts into every story. I know he’s going to be the right fit for this team.”
The author of Sucked Dry: The Struggle is Reel and the incoming president of Boating Writers International, Levine brings wide-ranging editorial experience to this role.
“Charlie’s first-class reputation amongst his peers and his relationships in the industry make him a valuable asset to Power & Motoryacht,” said Marine Group president Gary DeSanctis. “And his experience in the digital media landscape is something that will only benefit our group.”
