Turkey-based Aiata Boats this week announced a dealership agreement with Marine Connection. Headquartered in West Palm Beach, Fla., Marine Connection has seven locations in the Sunshine State, and the deal marks a “major step in Aiata’s international growth strategy,” the company said in a statement.

“Partnering with Marine Connection is a strategic milestone for Aiata,” Yuktun Tok, general manager of Anadolu Motor, the company that produces Aiata models, said in the statement. “Florida is the beating heart of the U.S. boating world, and this collaboration gives us a strong, trusted partner on the ground.”

Aiata is set to debut at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show with the Wayfinder 38, which is available in Cabin, Suntop and Fishing configurations.

Aiata operates out of a 10,000-square-meter facility near Istanbul and is backed by the Anadolu Group, the statement said.
