The National Marine Manufacturers Association’s American Boating Congress opens today at The Wharf on the Washington, D.C., waterfront.
The annual advocacy event brings together all segments of the boating business, providing an opportunity to engage with policymakers, advocate for top priorities and ensure the industry’s collective voice is heard at the highest levels of government.
This year’s theme is “United in Advocacy: Advancing the Next Era of Boating.” It’s meant to reflect a shared commitment to work collaboratively in shaping policies that support long-term growth, innovation and access to America’s waterways.
“Coming together in Washington is one of the most impactful ways our industry can ensure its voice is heard,” NMMA president and CEO Frank Hugelmeyer said in a statement. “With a unified approach, we are better-positioned to advance policies that strengthen U.S. manufacturing, support small businesses, and expand opportunities for current and future boaters, defining the next chapter of recreational boating.”
Trade Only Today will report from ABC through tomorrow’s main events.
