The Association of Marine Industries yesterday announced that it formed a membership alliance with the Alaska Association of Harbormasters & Port Administrators.
The move means that all AAHPA members will now also belong to AMI and have access to AMI’s services, products and benefits.
“The addition of AAHPA to our expanding Affiliate Program is an exciting development and shows the extent of our reach and value in AMI products and services,” AMI chairman John Swick said in a statement.
AAHPA is an organization of ports and harbors that facilitates maritime transportation hubs in Alaska. The organization advocates for environmental stewardship and education and works hand-in-hand with state and federal leaders on a variety of issue that affect Alaskan marinas and operators.
