In his role as editor of Kerrwil Publications, Adams delivered industry news to the Canadian marine industry and advocated for the boating community. He played a significant role in the launch of Boating Industry Canada, and his IMPACT stories brought the publication to the forefront of the industry.
“Andy’s enthusiasm for sharing news and updates on the recreational boating industry is not only his job, but his passion, which can be seen in everything he does,” Marie-France MacKinnon, NMMA Canada executive director, said in a statement. “We honor him with the Hall of Fame award in recognition of his strong sense of community and tireless efforts to better recreational boating.”
The NMMA Hall of Fame was established in 1988 and recognizes individuals who have generated, or continue to generate, substantial and lasting contributions toward the advancement of the marine industry.
