MarineMax announced today that Heather Mess, national marina manager, has been appointed to the Association of Marina Industries’ board of directors. As a board member, Mess will occupy one of the corporate marina seats and contribute her expertise to advancing the industry.
“The Association of Marina Industries has been instrumental in advancing my career through its comprehensive training programs, courses, conferences, and extensive resources,” Mess said in a statement. “The networking opportunities and industry insights it provides are highly valuable to the initiatives we pursue at MarineMax Marinas.”
Mess has earned the Certified Marina Manager designation through AMI’s training program. Additionally, she recently participated in a Women’s Leadership Panel at the AMI Conference & Expo, where she discussed collaborative efforts within the industry.
