Bluewater Marinas announced the acquisition of Kent Narrows Boatel, a heated drystack marina in Kent Narrows, Md. It is the fourth marina in the Bain Capital/Bluewater portfolio.
“Kent Narrows Boatel is an outstanding addition to our growing portfolio,” Andrew Terris, a partner at Bain Capital Real Estate, said in a statement. “The property’s offerings, location and modern infrastructure align perfectly with our strategy of investing in high-quality marinas in premier boating markets.”
The boatel opened in 2017 and has become a cornerstone of the local boating community. The property includes 375 slips for annual, seasonal and winter storage, and more than 12,000 square feet of ground-level commercial space. It is located on Kent Island and serves as an access point to many Chesapeake Bay waterways.
