
Barbour Corp., parent of rubrail and dock accessories manufacturer Barbour Plastics, named Matt Pearson president and CEO. He takes over for Richard Hynes, his uncle who recently retired after 55 years with the company.
Pearson has been with Barbour since 2004, working in sales, purchasing and management. Most recently, he was the general manager of Barbour Corp.
“[Matt] is extremely capable at the corporate level and understands the importance of producing quality products for our customers,” Michael Casey, president of the Barbour Plastics division, said in a statement.
Barbour Corp. is a private, family-owned company that supplies leather and plastic products to various industries.
