Bluenose Yacht Sales & Brokerage opened a new office in downtown Newport, R.I., the company announced.
Bluenose will sell new sail- and powerboats and have a brokerage business for sail and motor yachts.
“Our location is fabulous exposure giving our clients quick access to our many listings and product offerings,” managing partner Glenn Walters said in a statement. “While the market has been soft over the past two years, there has been a nice resurgence in demand due to very attractive financing packages and many new models with new technology that have excited my clients to purchase now.”
Waters said that during the next several months the company will announce yacht dealership agreements it is finalizing with several major brands, as well as brands that are less familiar in the United States that have good value and unique features.
