Bluewater Yacht Sales announced its move to Port Annapolis Marina in Annapolis, Md. As a subsidiary of Safe Harbor Marinas, Bluewater will benefit from the new location’s larger footprint and vessel storage operations, as well as common ownership following Safe Harbor Marinas’ recent acquisition of Port Annapolis.
Plans call for the new location to open early next year.
“The Bluewater team is proud to be part of Safe Harbor’s continued expansion in Annapolis,” general manager Wyatt Lane said in a statement. “This latest acquisition strengthens our ability to serve our customers with enhanced support and services throughout the Chesapeake Bay region.”
Port Annapolis is one of the largest marinas in the Annapolis area, with a 250 slips, expansive dry storage and a full-service boatyard. The 16-acre property includes an assortment of commercial spaces and resort-style amenities to support members and guests.
Safe Harbor Marinas also acquired Eastport Yacht Center in Annapolis in a deal that closed Nov. 4.
