Michigan-based Great Lakes Boat Building School and Gage Marine in Delavan, Wis., will host a Marine Trades Showcase on Lake Geneva on April 26.

The collaboration will highlight post-secondary training and career opportunities, GLBBS said in a statement.

Representatives from GLBBS will discuss its boatbuilding and service technology programs, which it said have had 100 percent job placement. Gage Marine will offer a scholarship for the 2022-23 school year.

“To remain a leader in the marine industry and build on the vision of the Gage family in establishing their heritage of excellence, we must be innovative in our approach to attracting quality talent to our organization,” said F.J. Frazier, chief operating officer at Gage Marine. “With our student sponsorship at Great Lakes Boat Building School we are addressing the workforce shortage in our industry.”
